Freelance no-code development in Bubble

For businesses and start-ups looking to power their businesses with an application developed in no-code, TorpedoJuice offers freelance Bubble development combined with industry disciplines to reduce risk and to save you time and money. Unlike those entities that perpetuate a hot-housed, start-up culture, I prioritize fundamental quality, smooth project delivery and business success.

The Benefits of No-Code

It saves a lot of time. Compared to traditional coding, it's 5 to 10 times faster. It’s also highly accessible to business professionals. Instead of relying on developers for every change, non-technical users can build and modify systems themselves.Bubble.io is a full-stack platform that handles everything: UI, logic, database, and integrations. Aptly described as "Lego for adults," it makes app development almost as intuitive as snapping pieces together.

Why Torpedojuice?

Hi, I’m David Chapple, a Certified Bubble Developer.I’ve spent most of my career in consulting and rapid application development, including some great years at Microsoft. My training isn’t in computer science but in business, which shapes how I approach solutions. I make everything as simple as possible so it's easy to maintain and scale. My expertise includes:+ Education
+ Systems Analysis and Design
+ Business Analysis
+ Project Management
This business-first perspective can mean the difference between an app that truly works for your business or a project troubled with delays and re-work, and which ultimately misses the mark.

How We Work Together

1. Requirements Gathering
I listen to you and then create a systems design, in simple schematics.
2. Visual Design
When the requirements are agreed, we brief a designer. I explain the system, and you'll work out things like the colours and the UX with them. The designer creates the low-fidelity pages, the navigation and some high-fidelity pages.
3. Build
Once the design is signed off, I build your app. You'll know progress through our regular meetings and ad-hoc chat for questions.
4. Testing
When functionally complete, your app is available for testing.
5. Go Live
When the issues raised during testing have been resolved, we deploy your app and you launch.

Some Questions Answered

1. Do you use AI?
For requirements, emphatically 'no'. The purpose of requirements gathering is to describe something unique and to demonstrate an understanding. For design? That's up to the designer, and by agreement, but the ultimate design has to match the requirements. For the build? It's too early at the moment to use AI in Bubble in itself, but it's useful for writing external scripts when creating integrations.
2. How much experience do you have using Bubble?
I've been using Bubble for over six years, and have created over seven full apps, mostly working with an agency. I have also undertaken smaller tasks as well. Before Bubble, I developed in MSFT Access and a legacy applications generator.
3. What type of arrangement would we have?
Whatever suites: we can work together on a retainer, fixed-price or time basis.
4. Would you work for an agency?
I do. Good agencies that bring in customers and de-risk projects are a valuable part of the Bubble ecosystem.
5. Where are you based?
I live in the UK, in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex.
